Sometimes I start a build with a tin for a body that isn't vintage or even particularly nice looking. Then, once I've finished the build I go round my studio and find cool looking stuff to 'dress' the front and complete the sculpture. In this case I decided to cut out the front of the tin and put a picture frame round it (to hide the cuts), then build a 3D composition inside the body. Then I decided to light it with some fairy lights. The pictures don't do it justice but he looks proper cool! One of those builds that I'll never get fully paid for (you wouldn't believe how long he took to make), but hey ho.
He stands at 75cm tall and the lights are powered by 2 AA batteries
